Teaching Peace as a Lifestyle                         Primary/Early Childhood

Teaching peace to children is not a curriculum, it is a lifestyle; an art. Through her 18 years of research, Kelly has discovered simple yet profound ways to promote peace among a community of young children. It first starts with the guide, from within. Every day is a spiritual transformation. One's gestures, language, mannerisms, and energy must be peace & mindful. Her intentions for this presentation is to share her 18 year childhood expedition of peace and mindfulness with others.


Kelly Crabtree is an advocate for children and peace to her core. She specializes in Human development and observation. Kelly's profession is teaching/ guiding is 2 1/2 to 6 year old children. She is also proud mother of a 13 year old.

Kelly currently teaches at Mountain Shadows Montessori School. She holds an AMI certification with the Primary level. In 2004 she had the great privilege to work with Renilde Montessori during Educateurs sans Frontières in Spain. Kelly is also a licensed yoga and meditation instructor.
