Today’s Child and the New Normal in Special Needs  Infant/Toddler/Primary/Early Childhood/Elementary/Secondary/Admin

We know we are serving increasing numbers of students with a diversity of needs- students who learn differently and struggle with self-regulation and behavior challenges. This participatory workshop will explore the who, the why, the what, and the hows for working with the children we strive to support in our Montessori environments.

With a Masters of Education in special education, in addition to her Montessori credential, Christine has created inclusive classrooms- toddler through upper elementary- at two schools she has founded, managed, and taught at the early childhood level. She shares her commitment and 25 years of experience working with students with challenges as a consultant at Montessori schools, and as a presenter at regional, state, and national conferences. Her workshops are enjoyed for the practical, hands-on tools and techniques she offers to Montessori educators for serving all students in their classrooms.
