Gender Diversity and Equity       Primary/Early Childhood/Elementary/Admin

This workshop will teach you about LGBTQ representation, diversity, and inclusion in an Early Childhood environment, and set forth how that can be achieved. Among the topics to be explored: supporting children of same-sex families, guiding children who are exploring their own gender and sexual identities, and incorporating gender diversity and equity into your curriculum. We will also discuss ways to communicate these curriculum updates to families. You will leave with resources for supporting children, families, and staff, as well as current terminology and book lists.
