CMA was founded in 2012 by a group of educators who saw the need to ensure a robust and         effective voice in Colorado for Montessori pedagogy. The support of a group of Founding Schools and Organizations, as well as individual Board Members was crucial to the establishment of a strong non-profit institution. CMA Board members have diverse backgrounds in Montessori education and volunteer their services.
